Data We Collect
- Account Information: When you sign in with Google, Apple, or Email/Password, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture (if available).
- Scan History: QR codes you scan are saved locally on your device and, if you are logged in, synced to your private Firestore account.
- Created QR Codes: QR codes you generate are stored in your account on Firebase Firestore.
- Usage Analytics: We use Firebase Analytics to understand app usage patterns. No personally identifiable information is included.
How We Use Your Data
- To provide and personalise the app experience.
- To sync your data across devices.
- To improve app performance via aggregated analytics.
Data Storage
Your data is stored securely on Google Firebase servers and is protected by Firebase Security Rules so only you can access your own documents. Guest users' scan history is stored locally on-device only and is never uploaded.
Third-Party Services
- Firebase (Google): Authentication, Firestore database, Analytics.
- Google AdMob: Ads for all users. Subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
Your Rights
- You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from the Profile tab.
- You can clear your local scan history from Settings.
- You can request data export by contacting us at the email below.
Children's Privacy
QR Scanner Pro is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
